Household Budget Privacy Policy

1. What We DON'T Collect

When you use our Budget Calculator or any other tool, nothing you type is saved on our servers. All calculations happen right inside your browser. Close the tab, and it's gone. No one — not us, not Google, not anyone — can see what you typed.

• We don't ask you to create an account
• We don't ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the calculators
• We don't save your calculation history
• We don't share anything with third parties
• We don't use your data for advertising

2. What We DO Collect (Very Little)

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically collects some basic information when you visit:

• Your IP address (a number that identifies your internet connection)
• Which pages you visit and how long you stay
• What browser you're using (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)
• What device you're using (phone, computer, tablet)

We look at this information in groups — like "50 people visited the Budget Calculator today" — not individually. This helps us understand what's working and what needs improvement. We cannot identify you from this data.

3. Cookies (Small Files Websites Use)

Cookies are tiny files that websites store on your device to remember things. We use them for:

• Remembering your city selection (so you don't have to pick it every time)
• Making the site work better on your device
• Understanding which tools are most helpful to users

We don't use cookies to track you across the internet or to sell your information.

What About Google?

If we show ads in the future, Google may use cookies to show you relevant ads. You can opt out of Google's personalized ads here: Google Ad Settings. We don't control what Google does with their cookies, but they have their own privacy policy you can read.

4. Your Rights (You're in Control)

Because we don't collect personal data through our calculators, there's not much to request. But if you've emailed us and want us to delete your email, here's what you can do:

• Ask what data we have: Email us and we'll tell you honestly
• Ask us to delete your data: Email us and we'll delete your message
• Ask us to stop using your data: Email us and we'll stop

5. Children Under 13

Our tools are designed for adults managing household budgets. We don't knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you're a parent and think your child has used our site, please email us and we'll make sure no data was stored (but remember, we don't save calculator data anyway).

6. If We Change This Policy

We don't plan to change how we handle your privacy. But if we ever do, we'll update the date below and post the changes here.

If we make significant changes, we'll also mention it on our homepage so you know.

7. Links to Other Sites

Sometimes we link to other helpful websites — like official data sources or Islamic guidance. We don't control those sites, and this privacy policy doesn't apply there. If you click a link, check their privacy policy if you're concerned.
