We are a small team of regular people from Pakistan. Some of us live in Lahore, some in Peshawar, some in Rawalpindi, and some in Karachi. Like you, we have families. Like you, we worry about rising prices before Ramadan. Like you, we want to manage our money better so we can give more to those in need.
Every year before Ramadan, our mothers would sit with notebooks and start writing down everything we needed to buy. Aata, chawal, tel, dal, chai... the list was long. Then they would call relatives in other cities to compare prices. Then they would try to figure out how much we should actually buy for the family. It took hours. And honestly, it stressed them out.
One day we thought, why not make a simple tool that does all this in seconds? We talked to each other. Ali is good with numbers, Muhammad Zeeshan knows market rates, Ameen knows websites, and Farhana helps with feedback. We decided to build something useful for our own families. Then we thought, maybe other families need this too. So we put it online. That's it. No big company. No investors. Just a group of friends trying to make Ramadan easier for everyone.
We are not some big organization. Just normal Pakistanis with normal jobs and normal families. Here's who we are:
Ali is an accountant by profession. He makes sure all our calculations are correct. He also tests the calculator with his own family budget every year to see if it matches real market prices.
📘 Connect on Facebook →Muhammad Zeeshan lives in Rawalpindi and visits the market every week. He tells us what prices are actually like on the ground. He makes sure our city-based rates (KPK, Punjab, Sindh) are realistic.
📘 Connect on Facebook →Ameen builds and maintains the website. He also makes sure your data stays private. None of your information leaves your phone or computer. We don't track or sell anything.
📘 Connect on Facebook →Farhana handles emails and feedback. If you have a question or find something wrong with the calculator, she makes sure it gets fixed. She also shares your suggestions with the team.
📘 Connect on Facebook →That's us. Four friends who wanted to help. Nothing fancy. Just people trying to make a difference.
We believe that planning your budget should not be stressful. Ramadan is a time for worship, family, and giving. You shouldn't have to spend hours calculating how much to spend at the grocery store.
We also believe that if you plan well, you can actually save money. And that money you save can go to someone who needs it more. Maybe your neighbor, maybe a relative, maybe through Zakat or Fitrana. That's the real blessing of good planning.
One more thing we believe: your data is your business. We don't ask you to sign up. We don't track what you type. We don't sell anything. Everything you calculate stays on your device. That's the way it should be.
We get this question a lot. Here's our honest answer:
Is it perfect? Probably not. If you find a mistake or something that doesn't match your local market, please tell us. We'll fix it.
We have some ideas for the future. Here's what we're thinking about:
If you have ideas or suggestions, we'd love to hear them. Email us anytime.
If you have questions, find something wrong, or just want to say Salam, please email us. We read every message.
We usually reply within a day or two. Sometimes it takes longer if we're busy with our day jobs. But we will reply, insha'Allah.
If you find this calculator helpful, please share it with your family and friends. Maybe someone you know is struggling with their Ramadan budget. This tool might help them too.
And if you could keep us in your prayers, that would mean a lot. We're just a small team trying to do something good. Your duas are our biggest support.
May Allah make this Ramadan easy for you and your family. May He bless your home with abundance and your heart with peace. May He accept our efforts and forgive our shortcomings. Ameen.
